銅板を切り出し、曲げやロウ付けをして形成してあります。
明かりが灯っている建築物をイメージで作りました。
表面を銅版画に用いるエッチングという技法で加工しています。
金属に出来る凹凸や不定型な穴はこの技法によるものです。
エッチングで出来た凹凸による乱反射と不定形な穴からの光でこれまでに無い多くの輝きを持つ柔らかい光を表現する事が可能になりました。

＜The metal lighting＞
The copper plate was cut, bent or forged and formed.
In the process I used a technique called “etching” which uses the
surface for copperplate printing.
This process creates the uneven surface and the undefined holes in the
metal surface, which causes diffused reflection and the lights to come
out of the holes.
Thanks to this, these products got brighter and warmer light than ever
before. Texture is similar to the lace by the plating on the surface.
• Please deal with these products carefully for they are very delicate.
• A plug is made according to Japanese specification, so plug adapter
and converter will be required.
